"Let's try not to get in a situation where we need to save each other", or something to that effect.

@Librarian: Let's not put ourselves in situations where we actually need rescuing.

Well, that started off pretty fun, then got rather awkward.

Also, Timberwolves suck.

Well I liked it a lot. S Urprised to see it went almost identical as the wgm page said, guess the plot was predictable but I enjoy episodes like this. Nothing too crazy. I laugh a lot more at this episodes than at Lesson Zero or any other crazy mares one, I hate those.

I can probably rewatch it later tonight. But for now, I bid you all adieu as I go take a shower, then take the dogs out before playing XCOM.

Was it just me or was the giant timberwolf lacking in the Conspicuous CG of the smaller ones?

Also, not enough Rarity, otherwise decent episode

Enthusiasm is tempered by ability. Confidence is tempered by knowledge. Ego is tempered by the truth.

Allow me to say this: Applejack is a terrible, terrible actor. (In-Universe, at least).[lol]

Also, that episode really seemed to pick up a bit once the entire cast was together. Up until then it was okay, but after that it got great.

Better than "You saved my life, so NOW we're even."

And again. The Timberwolf Elder is big and strong, and probably has Trample, but it has a Toughness of 1

Honestly a good cudgel and some woodproofed armor is all you need to pwn these timber wolves, also remember to cremate after smashing.

@Irish: She's too honest, lol, she can't even act.

For me, something just seemed off about a lot of things. That's not to say I didn't like, just that it somehow felt... rushed. I dunno.

Not bad, but could've been much better.

The timber wolf was all like "OK, all right, hold on a second, let me just get this out. OK, it's stuck in there good oh god."

I like how Spike actually thought the rinky-dink Timberwolf puppet looked good but still wasn't convinced it was real

I enjoyed that one. It felt more season 1-ish; it was just the primary cast doing about their day in Ponyville rather than lots of exciting stuff going on. There were a few technical issues (Spike being a bit too incompetent and the ending being a bit anti-climactic), but it was enjoyable enough despite that. But outside of the degree of incompetence, I actually like what they did with Spike. It's believable enough that he'd go a bit overboard in terms of helping out to the point that he becomes a problem. He has some great enthusiasm.
