The way I see it is that if Santa knows when you are sleeping and he delivers presents on Christmas morning, then so long as you sleep at some point during the night, then he'll show up.

I watched the last episodes I hadn't seen yet while wrapping presents to take to my parents house last year on Christmas Eve.
