Maybe Lightning Dust will go work on a rock farm. That seems to be the goto place for down on their luck antagonists.

Wait, if Apple's story will be about Lightning being a bounty hunter... and my fanon name is star hunter... oh my.[lol]
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

@Ace: Best not leave any room for miss conceptions.

I should also add that Christmas also has it's origins in the birth of a god. Which god depends on who you ask, but one of them can be interpreted as a humanized, gender-bent version of Celestia.tongue

@Apple: Good Evening. Nice to see I still receive the second most vigorous greeting you can provide.

@Mio: Oh, you mean the old midwinter myth about the death and rebirth of the Sun? Or the one about waking up the Sun so Spring would return? Or perhaps you're talking about the old King of the Bean thing they used to do?

@Ace: I just think Sol Invictus is a pretty cool title that Celestia should totally make use of when she wants to be intimidating.

@Apple: Hmm, not bad. The colors work better then I thought they would, but I still think it could use a bit more contrast.

When I posted that earlier, I said that I felt that he looks a bit like AJ's long lost twin unicorn brother, and I'm not sure that's a good thing.

Also, it's still a bit...not great looking. I still need to improve dramatically.

You're not going to develop skill overnight. Just stick with it, you'll get there eventually.

Might want to work on making your lines less wobbly, though.

Wobbly lines...I have bad, wobbly lines...I'll have to zoom in even more in future to knock that on the head.

The best technique is a kind of sword drill. Draw a hundred circles and a hundred straight lines each day [lol]

@Apple: He honestly doesn't look very close to AJ with his color scheme, blonde hair aside. I still say you should go with a darker, more bronze color for either his coat or mane. Which ever you think preserves the "gold theme" and provides the best contrast.

Is that what the pros do?

I remember those kinds of exercises way back in high school art class. I was wondering what the point was to all that. I wanted to make pictures, dangit!

I'll give it a shot.

However, I also think that a bandanna like that doesn't really suit a unicorn now that I see it. I might need to rethink that too.

@ Ace

Does that really work?

@Kyler: Right now I have progressed beyond that stage personally. It helped that I used to do a lot of stickman comics when I was still in nursery :V

@Apple: Yes it does, because muscle memory helps a great deal.

OK, I'll try that.

Might help ease the pain too...I think I have tendentious or carpel tunnel syndrome or something.
