@Blissey: Actually, that depends. A lot of people like to see the process, yes, but a lot of people like it for the end result - seeing how the transformed reacts to their new state, in addition to any observer to the transformation.

Equestrian ponies are seriously tough for a race that evolved from a prey species.

I mean humans are a people you don't want to pick fight with becaus we clawed our way up to the top of the predator chain with a ladder made out of weapons, but ponies managed to survive and thrive despite being considered "edible" by several major upper tiers of apex predators from the Everfree.

It's actually quite impressive.

Actually, perhaps not as much as you'd think - ungulate species tend to far very well in the wild. considering their major defense mechanism is running which they're very good at, and their secondary defense is tied into what makes them good at running...

In fact, while I don't know that this applies to horses, I do know that Adult Giraffes are basically invincible - their kick has been known to decapitate lions.

@Kegi: True, they have power in numbers and run fast and have a serious kick (if AJ punted you at full force, she could possibly knock your head clean off your shoulders!).

Of course, when you have scary super-hunter predators with both speed and stamina (kinda like humans and wolves or Timber wolves), you have a problem.

It's been a busy day today, but I managed to produce this

◊, and in only 25 minutes too! That is an old hand drawn 'prototype' of my captain, dug up and coloured in. I always wanted him to have a golden colour scheme, but now that I see it, to me he looks too much like AJ's long lost twin Unicorn brother. So I'll to keep working at it.

Oh, and the CM is a compass with a globe over it. That's just a stand in atm.

@Apple: Looks good, once you get comfy filling in the colour, you can start practicing adding shadow effects. The trick is to use a layer to apply the shadow, either with Layer Filter Effects or with Layer Opacity.
