Luna doesn't get stealth, does she?

Actually it's a brilliant plan. Use RCV when pretending to sneak around to lull ponies into a false sense of security. Then once they're sure they can spot her, she does actual stealth without using it.

So, I'm playing the Gameloft game.

Is there any limit to watching those short ads to get a free gem each time? I know it's a bit tedious, but it seems like a very profitable thing to do while waiting for things to build...

edit:

Oh. Yes, apparently.

Did they ever fix the insane prices for some of the stuff in the game?

For the required ponies, yeah. RD only costs 90, Rarity is 70, and now all the mission-required stores and stuff can be bought with bits instead of gems. Still a bit expensive, not not nearly as bad as it was. Optional stuff still costs an arm and a leg, though.

@Story People have been messing with it on Android devices, but there hasn't been anything major outside of figuring out how the pony models and textures work.

My random thoughts FOE liveblog

Speaking of mods, liveblogs and Fallout Equestria, someone made a Fallout Equestria mod for Dwarf Fortress, which is surprisingly well made, and manages to adapt the setting's technology to the game in a way I didn't really think possible.

I'm thinking about making a liveblog out of it, after I've gotten acquainted with it and I'm sure there won't be an imminent update. Other than that, I really haven't played much, and the only interesting thing that happened is that one of my immigrants got mauled by a giant radscorpion, which got chased off somehow by a fisherpony with a crappy rifle. Apparently he got a lucky shot to the mandible and the thing didn't like it much.

@Yeller: There's the Pony Liberator, a XML injecting man-in-the-middle exploit that lets you inject custom pricelists into the unpatched Gameloft app through a DNS exploit, it may need a new pricelist if you're using it on the patched version.

Been playing the patched gameloft app legit, got Teacher's Pet (Truffle Shuffle) and the Ice Cream store, the Christmas Patch new questline GIVES GEMS :D

@Lopiny: Predating the FOE mod for Dwarf Fortress was a vanilla Pony Fortress. At the time they didn't know how to implement the Telekinesis for Unicorns so they made the horn act as a prehensile limb. Was kinda wierd, but eh.

[up] I played that one. It was when I first learned that ponies are pretty nasty when pushed. The author then went to add three cave pony races (which were kinda cool, btw), three evil pony races, and then he went overboard with the three race counterparts in other races. After he vanished without a trace, two of his fans decided to continue his legacy with mods of their own, with only one keeping the cave ponies but being kinda weird (tyranids all over the place) and the other one being only show canon, but pretty decent.

And that wasn't the only weird thing. Pegasi could wrestle with their wings, and would often disassemble their enemies by wing rather than use their weapons. And unicorns went stab happy with their steel-piercing horns with alarming frequency. And telekinesis is still kinda wonky. The former kept it like that, and the latter made telekinesis another organ in the horn. It feels weird to pinch the telekinesis off their horn using your own, leaving a severed telekinesis lying on the floor and one very unhappy unicorn.

Dorf ponies are even more hardcore than normal Equestrian Ponies [lol]

And you thought ponies who could literally kill ecosystem-destroying evils by literally loving and tolerating them to death weren't hardcore enough [lol]

Also it helps that Dorf ponies were actually larger proportionately to the Dorfs themselves and had superior muscle mass. I recall one version of Pony Fort had the dorfs as a companion race like humans in vanilla DF, and the dorf guards were never as hardcore as dorf Earth Pony guards.

Really they should figure out how to rig the TK to the horn as a special property and allow ponies to manipulate stuff with their mouths and to a lesser degree with their hooves.

They made the mouth a grasper, so that worked. And they didn't allow magnet hooves because the ponies would grab one shield per limb and it'd be a little too broken. Especially with one of the cave ponies, which had eight legs (it was spiderish).

Oh, right, shield exploits [lol]

Still it goes to show why it takes evil gods and ecosystem-destroying evils to mess with ponies :V

It's a Transformation turn-on.

but isn't a TF fetish more about the process than the end result? This isn't "pony turning into a raptor", this is just "pony as a raptor".

I mean, some of the species swap stuff makes sense(like octopus octavia is just a play on words), but a lot of it, I just don't know.
