Personaly I tend to shoehorn Rarity in to complete a Rainbow Motif everyone else already could fit in (I don't recolor her gree but i tend to associate her with that color) Considering that the other ponies could easily fir in that spectrum why did that make Rraity white instead of green? and for that matter how come the only green ponies are Lyra and Granny Smith? Do they hate the spectrum? Am i asking too many questions

I don't think so. They were never carnivorous in the first place, so I see no reason for them to invent fake meat substitutes.
