@Red Savant - And that's why I took up grappling martial arts.

Of course, not to say that it is entirely safe. I once fell on my neck, with the weight of both me and my sparring partner falling right on my neck. Luckily, no accident happend.

I don't see the appeal. If I ever got into a situation where I had to fight, I'd be a Combat Pragmatist.

It's possible, but it's never really mentioned in show. Pretty much all pegasi wings are the same size for all ponies in a given age range. The only exceptions are the alicorns and Roid Rage.

Well, some pegasi might be very self conscious about the size of their wings. I could relate. :P

Mostly, I just wish I was Badass. So far, the most Badass thing I've ever done was get kicked out of high school.

@JT - Main appeals for fighting comes from two sources. One is the neurochemical reaction like I mentioned earlier. In evolutionary perspective, for the vast majority of history, mankind has been warriors. Body moving with force and speed to conquer one another, that is something that still remains in our instinct. Of course, not everyone has experience with this instinct.
