So I'm glad most people seem to have liked the episode. I think it's my favorite of the series. Gonna have to watch it again soon to see.

P.S. in the early morning before work today I learned that a group of ponies is called a Marmalade. The fandom needs to know this.

The new voice probably didn't help.

To be honest we don't have that much of a handle of Spitfire to decide 100% her "character' but I think we can rationalize her "cool and calm" persona does not apply when being a drill sergeant.

@AHR: Because she acts differently than she did last time we saw her. People who make such claims are ignoring the fact that she's in a VASTLY different situation than before ~~and hanging around a different marmalade of ponies.~~

I definitely don't think she was out of character, and I thought she was great in the episode. This episode has transformed Spitfire from "character I am vaguely aware exists" to character I actually really like.
