I found the Fluttershy scenes between her and Luna to be entertaining because you don't usually see the quiet one being comically abused. Yet when it happened, they made it work without it going too far. ...that is a lot of "it"s.

The only thing is that Luna looks NOTHING like Nightmare Moon.

Given that Fluttershy's default setting is to jump to the worst conclusion and hide under the bed, she probably got one look at her mane and panicked.

Edit: And I say this as a huge fan of Fluttershy's. Presumably, since Luna wasn't actively trying to disembowel Twilight in that scene, she didn't have the motivation to jump to Fluttality mode.

I do love how Luna has such a blase expression during the part where Twilight's dragging Fluttershy out. It's like she doesn't give a shit.

and I also love Fluttershy's quick "okay" after Luna finishes her request for lessons

How much experience does Luna have with ponies forcibly dragging people out of their homes? For all she knows the cacophony of farm animals is a normal part of the process.

What shipping pairs do you guys like? Appledash is probably the most popular overall, and I think it's ok. I read a really good Twi Pie ship yesterday though. But Big Mac/Luna is probably my favorite.

I enjoy Appledash because they have a good dynamic, but I'm perfectly okay with all of the cast's relationships remaining purely good friendship - because people can be very good friends without UST, something a lot of fandoms seem to forget. XD

Gilda is totally lesbian (with a minor in Dashsexual), though.
