chapter 11

If I were to write an episode? Oh boy...

It'd be big, season opener or finale material. The stakes would start out above-average and only get higher. Celestia gets more characterization. The grand return of the Elements of Harmony, but the Mane Six need to do more than believe really hard and shoot to beat the bad guy. Speaking of the bad guy, he'd be designed to give both the intended audience and periphery audience nightmares. Awesome nightmares. Gags would be over-the-top, as well as ripe meme material. If there's a song, then nothing less than an orchestral/rock opera featuring all the characters in the episode. Faces from previous episodes show up to help out. The bonds of friendship are tried to their limit, but only come back stronger. The good guys (all of them) learn a lesson about friendship or believing or somesuch, the villain is killed or otherwise destroyed (preferably in an ironic and/or epic fashion), and everyone gallops off into the sunset.

I wonder if Cadance would say something like this.

Cadance: (to Twilight) This is for the record: History is written by the victor. History is filled with liars. If she lives, and we die, her truth becomes written — and ours is lost. Chrysalis will be a heroine. Because all you need to change the world is one good switch and a river of blood. She's about to complete the greatest trick a liar ever played on history. Sounds more like Celestia, honestly. A side of her she doesn't like to show, but one that's there. Old, and experienced.

Also, if I was ever in charge of an episode that took place in a western desert {Like Over A Barrel did}, I'd probably have a couple of Background Ponys who look like the main charectors of Cowboy Bebop, much like Lauren did with the Big Lebowski ponys. Why? Well, why not?

And If I ever got to do write a villain, I'd probably have a smart Genre Savvy bad guy who actually has a personality and doesn't just go all "BLAUGH CRYSTAL SLAVES" like he's drunk. And the mane 6 would have to defeat him using team work, not the Elements of Harmony {Which he's wisely hidden away from them since he knows that they pose a threat to him} and the bad guy suddenly getting too careless and cocky about his plan {Like Discord and Chrysalis did}. Of course, I'd have to have someone help me make him not seem like a Villain Sue......

On a completely different note, I came back from seeing The Hobbit a while ago, and let me tell you its the manliest movie I've ever seen. But on a side note, is it sad every time they mentioned ponies (manly, badass dwarves ride ponies) I thought of...well, ya know, our little ponies? I think one of them was even named Minty, though maybe that was my brony mind playing tricks on me.
