That reminds me of an Ask Blog idea that I had that centers around a Christian Brutal Sniper-esque version of Twilight and her partner Rarity in an alternate Ponyville where everyone kills each other for fun (don't worry, it's played for laughs, and everyone respawns the next day.)

Going back a couple pages, I saw The Hobbit yesterday too, but I have to admit our ponies didn't come to mind when they talked about ponies.

If I wrote an episode? It would probably be a Freaky Friday Flip involving all 6 of the Mane Cast, and after they were back in their original bodies, the moral would be stated as "Before you judge another pony's life, you must walk a mile in their horseshoes." And as a pun, there would be a part where they're all doing a long trek somewhere in their switched bodies. It would start with them having arguments over who's got it easier or harder, too. For bonus points, the switches would be across pony types, so NOT switching Twilight with Rarity, Applejack with Pinkie, and/or Fluttershy with Rainbow Dash.

Either that or a dream sequence story about their potential future children, and they get these dreams after they all were earlier interacting with the Cake Twins. Or the CMC try to foal sit the Cake Twins (maybe both in the same story).

Oh, and what was his?

If I wrote an episode, I'd have them switch bodies after they've won tickets to a magical chocolate factory, and the only way to switch back is to shrink down and enter Celestia's body and come to accept the meaning of Christmas, while defrosting Celestia's heart of ice and being accepted by the villagers for their quicky, non-traditional ways even after as being exposed as liars and outcasts by Luna who turns out to be their long lost mother, all as foretold in an ancient prophecy.

I just thought of something. Since the Cake Twins showed that ponies can have foals that are different types of ponies from both parents, what happens when a pegasus who lives in a cloud house (like Rainbow Dash) or in a place like Cloudsdale has a unicorn or Earth pony foal? The happier scenario would be that this has happened in places like Cloudsdale before, and they have special precautions for it, however, it means that the pegasus parents would have to move to a place on the ground for the safety of their foal. For a pony like Rainbow Dash, it would depend on whether or not she gave birth in her cloud house or if she gave birth in a hospital on the ground.

^^ Well, I hesitate to post this, as it is somewhat of an actual spoiler, but it's an extremely minor one about the environment that has no impact on the story. Still, tagged for your safety: Clouds can apparently support ground, or at least some kind of ground substitute. For example, we see a runway in the clouds that appears to be made of good old asphalt.

Maybe they can detect the gender and/or type of baby/s that the mother/father is going to give birth to, and plan ahead.

Or maybe they just live in Ponyville. After all, we've seen plenty of Pegasi in Ponyville.

There was also a temporary measure in this episode, but I think it would be a real dick move to do that on a newborn baby <- That's a real one. Not that my others weren't totally legit too.

And apparently we're set to detonate.
