I remember our Firecracker Burst fanon. She was like a combination of the Pyro and the Joker.

@Drenius: Posting out of context screencaps and talking about the possibility of an MLP movie.

Didn't Tealove have some fanon here too?

Oh, the thread? Don't worry, it's just dead.

I don't actually remember much fanon for Tealove besides the fact that she hosted some sort of talk show.

Wait, are you discussing a purely hypothetical MLP movie and what each of us would like to see in such a production, or is there any actual talk of a movie if only a Made-for-TV film?

Journalism is just a gun. It's only got one bullet in it, but if you aim right, that's all you need.

There have been (however inconclusive) hints that a straight-to-DVD movie may be in the works, but nothing is confirmed. We're just speculating about it.

A Straight to Video movie? It sounds feasible, and it would certainly be pretty neat.

When did she get a cat?

Not sure if anyone's posted this yet but our recap page has this. Very interesting.

@Storyyeller: Her toy has a cat. Badwolfwho decided to let her keep it in his fanfic adaptation (which I can't wait to read).

EDIT: Ninja'd.

I still think Snowcatcher should be a fictional book series. And then there can be Daring Do Snowcatcher crossovers, despite how little sense that makes because money!

Also, does this mean that Snowcatcher will become a crazy cat lady given enough time?

So, if everything at DHX is going as planned, they're still working on the DVD episode and will continue to work on until the Apocalypse comes.

To answer an earlier question, yes Transformers: The Movie and My Little Pony The Movie were both released theatrically. The Transformers movie was rather infamous for causing kids to cry coming out of the theater.

Personally, I feel if they do a theatrical movie it'd be a good time to explore the epic conflict between Celestia & Nightmare Moon 1000 years ago. Imagine the epic & tragic battle between Celestia & Nightmare Moon with movie-budget animation! I'd pay money to see it.

The Simpsons got a movie, though admittedly, it's much more famous and long running.

I knew someone would post that.

Also, yeah, MLP isn't as well known as the Simpsons. I think a theatrical movie might turn out more like The Powerpuff Girls movie did.

Oh right, I forgot about that movie. Which proves the point.

@JT: In fairness, G1 Transformers didn't have that many famous names in it, yeah Frank Welker and the likes are renowned V As but not much different from those used in FIM. Most of the characters used by big actors were exclusive to the movie (eg. Orson Welles as Unicron, Leonard Nimoy voicing Galvatron for one appearance). FIM could do the same if they made loads of one shot ponies with guest actors for a movie.
