yeah this isn't a full length Disney type movie, it's just an extended two parter. Though the rate they are going, I could so see them making a theatrical movie in time. maybe as the grand finale for Gen 4

The only way I imagine that could go well is having characters from the toyline introduced to the show. That kinda has the potential for some good moments.

Also, I'd be glad to see more toyline-only characters make it onto the show—Blossomforth managed to get on (and Sweetcream Scoops & Sugar Grape did the next best thing by appearing in the comic), but there are still over 50 ponies who've only ever been in the toyline...

Well noone complained about the Crystal Empire stuff. Admittedly it was obviously going to get jossed from the start, unlike the T Ealove and Snowcatcher stuff.

An episode about Snowcatcher would completely ruin our fanon for her.

But then we'd make Snowcatcher, the irreverant her alter ego. Still, we'd established that her story happened years ago, so that at least woul'd have to change.

I honestly have no idea what the headcannon on her even is, I just know that she always has the tag The Irreverent.

I feel like I'm missing out on an in-joke here.

I'm rusty with regards to Snowcatcher.

IIRC, Sereg had is own incredibly detailed extension to what people came up with. I never really payed too much attention to thread fanon, though.

In Regards to Snowcatcher, the Irreverent: A while ago in the thread, it was mentioned that Snowcatcher had one of the worst special talents ever: Catching Snowflakes on her tongue. So we, pretty much meaning Badwolfwho, Sereg, and me, decided to make fanon where her special talent was used to overthrow a corrupt alicorn named Princess Permafrost.

I don't know how it happened, but yeah, it became the thread in-joke. Even I don't know anything about it besides the title.

I helped a little. For example I came up with the Princess Permafrost name.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about a theatrical movie. While I have no doubt the quality would be good, I'm not sure how well it would do. I mean, yes the show has a disproportionately large fandom, but it doesn't quite have the drawing power that other franchises have. Bronies would turn out in droves, and kids would probably see it, but I don't know how much else there'd be. I mean, it's not like Transformers where people who know very little about the franchise are going to show up because of the big names attached to it.

Snowcatcher's description indicates that her special talent is catching andmelting snowflakes with her tongue.

It was decided that this required an aplication of Heart Is an Awesome Power. So we made her into a badflank rebel leader fighting against Princess Permafrost. The alicorn of storms, who ruled the ponies who never left for Equestria in an eternal winter. She enslaves the pegasi in her weather factories. Including Snowcatcher's mother. While her army of unicorns, earth ponies and windigos oppresses the peasants. Snowcatcher disrespect to Permafrost and her enforcers has earned her the nickname "The Irreverant One" or in full, "Snowcatcher, the Irreverant". She wishes to avenge her mother, take down Permafrost and free the ponies of the north. And her ability to instantly melt any snow or ice her tongue touches will serve her well. Her unicorn spells mostly have to do with heat. She also has a pet cat.
