Poor Fluttershy. And then she gets crushing-hugged by Luna, too... man, I really, really expected a 'yay' from Luna in that scene. That would have made my entire day.

It doesn't appear to be progressing much further than a few comments in response to the episode (which is fine by me), then again I'm probably wrong.

By the way. Did anyone find it weird that the episode was showing Dash's antics in a very negative light? I mean it just seemed like she was doing something you would usually do on Halloweenesque holiday (going around and scaring people). It was also kind of weird how her being physically shocked at the end by Luna was supposed to be funny and sort of a comeuppance (my reaction to that was of a "Duude, not cool!")

I got the impression that that Luna physically shocked her rather then just scarred her. It was kind of jarring for me. Then again I may just have misread that moment.

I'm started imagine how it would be if Luna replaced mane cast in some (or all episodes).

For example Dragonshy or Over Barer. Or replacing just one character, like Flutershy ad begining of Sonic Rainboom.

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

(Though I especially enter a murderous rage as soon as the Smurfs theme song plays. In Dutch).

The Smurfs had a theme song? Every time I always watched it, it started with a pan over the countryside and then abruptly switched to a scene of Gargamel destroying some dam or something. I never got what that was about.

Hey, a smurf! That would be the perfect pet for Rainbow Dash! (Except she'd probably eat it)

It sticks to the brain, it does! My favourtie was always Glasses Smurf. I always felt sad when he was thrown away mid-lecture.

Now I look back, I understand that I saw part of me in himself, and that wasn't a happy understanding, I can tell you. What a turd I was.

@Mio: If she did, it wasn't that bad of a shock. I'd imagine that it was around the level of one what you'd get from static electricity. It's not like Luna nailed Rainbow Dash with a taser or anything.

Hmm. . .I suppose that was a mistake on my part. I think the smoke trail (probably just bits of the cloud) that Dash left made it seem worse than it really was.

I know it's probably a bit early to start worrying, but how likely is it there will be a season 3? I'm inclined to think the odds are good since: 1.FiM is insanely popular and B. It's being used to "advertise" a toy line that is stable and selling well.
