Sweetie Belle doing that really long song made me think of the Animaniacs song where Yakko sings "All the Words in the English Language." I think because of that song, I half-expected Sweetie to get more and more tired as the song went on, like Yakko does.

Now I want to see a version where she sings that same "words in the English language" song, which would probably result in more fan-jokes about her being a dictionary.

That was her 'bad' voice. And it was vaguely tuneful at the end, if loud.

Edvedd, you just blew my mind.

Wait, what if she's already in her own dream? All of Equestria is Luna's dream you guys!

But seriously, I'm curious about how Luna's dreamwalking powers work.

She has a door. A dream door.

All of the show from the end of The Elements Of Harmony is really Luna's dream where she reintegrates into Equestria. What really happened was that she was locked away again.

I hope whoever is dreaming doesn't wake up before we find out why Pinkie is wearing that freaking mustache in the promos.

Pretty good episode. Might argue the best of the individual CMC spotlight episodes (unless you count Bridle Gossip for AB).

I didn't mind the Luna appearance, nice establishment, plus I liked Luna being loud and hammy at the end of it (worried that part of her might have dissappeared).

I also like the good balance of personality for both Rarity and RD, showing them interchange well between being caring role models for the CM and Innocently Insensitive of the highest order. We finally got some real development between Scootaloo and RD, and they did well to show RD caring and playful towards Scootaloo while also showing she isn't most perceptive of the big sis role as the other two.

Will likely serve as good balance since I get the feeling the next episode will be RD at her most abrasive again.

The only major complaint I may have is that it was still largely developing a CMC based largely on the people they interact with rather than their individual personality. Both of the other two cutie marks are shown similarly terrified as Scoots for example, but the pivot for them not being part of the story is they don't have RD as a peer.

Was anyone else reminded a bit of Roo's role in The Tigger Movie with how Scoots wanted a big sister?

Well, she was tired of not having it. Made walking kinda uneven.

Fun fact: The Rusty Horseshoe appears to be based on The Golden Arm, a classic oral horror story popularized by Mark Twain.

Hey I'm back.

Welp! I can't say this is quite as good as "Too Many Pinkie Pies", but it definitely gives it a run for its money, easily the best episode since The Crystal Empire.

People were talking about the Trixie episode being awesome, ..but this was the episode to wait for.

It was good to see a new side to Rainbow Dash, and see just how far the Rarity-Sweetie Bell bond has come since "Sisterhooves Social".

But the coolest part was sleeping Scootaloo on her scooter getting hrough all sorts of things, ..and stealing Bear's fish.

I do wish we had seen more of Scoots family, ...or the rest of it took place in Ponyville.

Damn it it was about time this episode happened.

Truthfully I thought The Crystal Empire was the most mediocre of the two parters so far, and Too Many Pinkies was okay but not exceptional. This and Magic Duel are what sold me to the Third Season.

Yes, it was very nicely done altogether.

Watched the new episode. Probably the best CMC episode yet. For once Scootaloo didn't strike me as a flat and unintreasting charector like she and the other CMC's tend to do {And she was adorable in this episode too}, Luna's appearence and the fact that she can enter dreams is awesome, and unlike most CMC episodes some of the mane 6 actually had a role too. And Scootalove is now canon too, which is a plus. But on the other hand, so is Sweetie-abuse.
