you know, what they said a bit ago does seem right, while the focus characters are handle as amazingly as ever, Mane 6 filling secondary roles do seem to get a bit more exaggerated. Though loved the ending between Sweetie and Rarity

I really wished she had learned from "Sisterhooves Social" one of the best episodes of Season 2! It IS funny seeing her being materialistic, but that's all she was here!

What is all this "fanservice" you keep talking about?

Yeah, Sweetie and Rarity were pretty superfluous, but I guess they didn't want to leave one of the CMC out.

I don't blame Fluttershy at all for being afraid of her.

Beign afraid of Trixie made perfect sense, but she was also acting afraid before Trixie even showed up.

It was nice. Some fun jokes, Scoots was in focus for the first time, we saw a few sides of Rainbow Dash, and a special guest.

I guess with less screen time, they kinda have to do MORE. Which isn't always a good thing. But, she didn't totally lose her Sisterhooves lesson.

Nothing wrong with fanservice, so as long as it stay true to the show nature is all that matter, imo.

Yeah, I don't think Rarity lost any characterization, just that they emphasized her shortcomings a bit much. I mean, stuff like her packing an absurd amount of stuff or having an overly fancy tent are totally in character for her, but stuff like her making Scoots and Sweetie pull the luggage cart just seemed off to me. I mean, she's not so prissy that she wouldn't take a turn pulling the thing.
