Okay let's see. First of all, earth ponies:
Spike said "food
that could only be grown by the earth ponies" He never said "enough". As for Apploosa, there is nothing in that episode that says how long it took them to grow the trees other than it was less than a year. A second is less than a year. Now, due to Family Appreciation Day, we know that it actually takes longer than that. A few days at a minimum. But still. The comics tell us that outside of Equestria, plants grow without the aid of earthponies. This matches up with Bridle Gossip when the ponies were shocked by the fact that plants
grow in the Everfree. Which means that they don't grow without aid in Equestria. As such, theproblem isn't with the idea that unicorns and pegasi can't grow plants. They can
outside of Equestria. And outside of Equestria, earth ponies would grow plants even faster.
Then, for Fallout Equestria. I see Velvet's talent with spells more indicative of Life Bloom's teaching than her talent. He's a
really good teacher. And he's implied to be
the next bearer of magic. Of course, I heard some hearsay that that wasn't Kkat's intention, which confused me no end, but whatever.
As for Littlepip, I don't see her as excessively violent. At all. Two of her team mates are
far more violent than she is and I don't see
them as excessively violent
either.
And yeah, I didn't see a problem with the canon characters' portrayels either. They all made really stupid decisions, but I see that as a theme of the story.
As for Fluttershy in the latest episode, I agree that she was exagerated which was a problem, but it wasn't excessive.
