I can even kind of understand Flutterhsy being more scared then normal, they've spent..seemd like a few days at least...under trixie's control, scared all the time, unsure when she'd randomly torture them, Fluttershy's nerves must be totally shot, long term constant stress will really mess with you.

Plus...her house is fairly well outside the town, ti's possible she couldn't even get home after the field went up. So add in worrying about her critters.

how do ALL such amulets end up in a curio shop?

Where did Trixie get the amulet? Was that ever explained? It looks like something the Shadow King from the season premiere would use. Does this mean that Trixie's explanation about what happened to her after Season 1 was only partly right?
Did anyone else hear "use the sex" instead of "use the six"? :O

it's a dusty, spooky curio shop in a back alley. Those things ALWAYS have uber powerful trinkets laying around.

This amulet is supposed to have "high-level power" that no common unicorn could use without years of practice. ....... so where does that leave the Elements of Harmony? One thing I don't like about these episodes is how they introduce magic elements for the sake of the plot and gloss over the Elements due to the different writers. This episode was still very good and I loved all the creative animation!

@Syd: Daring gives her findings to Canterlot Mueseum. It's clearly her unlucky rival who had to hock that amulet.

@JM: Twi digs it out to use against a villain in the S3 finale, and her resistance-to-corruption training lets her use it without turning to the Dark Side.
