@Mousa: Trixie was only being evil evil because of the amulet. Before that, she was just a bit of a jerk. I think it was believable enough.

Anyway, I think that was definitely my favorite episode of the season so far. My only real issue with it is that Fluttershy's wimpiness was emphasized a bit too much. Yeah, she's a scaredy cat, but normally she's at least decent about putting it aside to help her friends.

So, Boast Busters was retconned I see. In that Trixie could easily defeat Rainbow Dash, in this she can at best tickle her.

I actually thought it was a pretty good episode. Glad that Trixie got redeemed at the end, much as I dislike her. Maybe now she'll stop being so arrogant.

But wait...DANGIT, all those spells that Twilight used in the second duel aren't canon! XD The R63 spell was just Big Macintosh, the filly AJ and Rarity were just Applebloom and Sweetie Belle, and the two Rainbow Dashs were just Fluttershy and the original Rainbow! Nuts! DX

The best part is that Twi proved to Trixie she was better than Trixie at her own game (Read: stage/performance illusion magic)! Also good use of a decoy amulet there.
