Apple Family Reunion => the kinds of episodes a title like that makes me imagine is the ones AJ receives lots of Character Development, so ... there is hope! :)

The thing about an episode titled "Apple Family Reunion" is that I honestly can't see a way for it to avoid the question of AJ's parents, so I'm expecting them (or their lack of presence) to be the focus.

If only we had some kind of list of upcoming episodes somewhere on This Wiki.

Daily sarcasm aside, if "Apple Family Reunion" is an Applejack episode (and not say, an Apple Fritter episode), and each of the Mane Six are getting one focus episode (plus CMC and Scootaloo episodes), that leaves 8 and 11 being the Rarity & Fluttershy episodes, and then a two part finale hinted to return to the Crystal Empire.

I do wonder what they'll do with everyone's favorite hammy fashionista, her episodes are always a riot.

I'm sorry, you lost me there.

I think a family reunion is meant to make AJ to think about her life, or rethink her future, or compare herself to her relatives, or remember her parents when alive, or tell her history/the family history in flashbacks to the kids, or a lot of other possbilities that all mean: we take a deeper view at AJ character.

Heck, that could very easily be the whole point of the episode. AJ, Big Mac and possibly wee Applebloom kinda dealing with echoes of greif.

Tad dark for the show, but I think possible. I mean, we've already had a 'your relatives are boss as fuck' episode, so what else is there for a premise like this? Unless it's maybe "You don't have to like someone to love them"
