Luster dust: Shiny AND delicious!
Luster dust ponies are going to be a thing now, aren't they?
@Lopiny: Rainbow is awesome Russian artist. (No, I'm not talking about our troper Rainbow, who prolly isn't Russian)
The guy who does the CMC ask blog is really good with Flash animation. Go ahead. Try to distinguish this from he show's animation.
That was posted ages ago, and yes, it's really good. The only thing that betrays the fact it isn't from teh show is the unusual colors on that one OC (nopony in the show has anything like that green striped mane and lavender body. It just stands out)

Now I'm wondering if Rarity and Pinkie worked together to develop Luster Dust. Pinkie would totally use it to make edible "treasure", while Rarity wants some for her Rarity's Secret catalogue.
Or instead of being solid chocolate, she could go M & Ms style and use golden candy coating impregnated with Luster Dust.
Lusterdust was originally developered for finding invisible creatures. It's like Glitterdust minus the blinding effect.
