Yeah, I really wish DT and SS had been incorporated more. Like maybe show them pressuring Babs into being more mean to the CMC that she would have been otherwise.

@Patty: Yeah, I can see where you're coming from.

Also, I think the Babs Seed song is probably the most easy to get stuck in your head song from the entire show so far. Not the best song, but definitely one of the catchiest.

@d Roy: Yeah.

Speaking of Pinkie, I'd like to point to the scene in this episode when people say that the Mane Six should have known who the real Pinkie was last episode.

Bad Seed really doesn't seem very catchy to me. Or really that good at all.

Liked the episode and especially loved the song. First FIM song that doesn't make me plug my ears.

@Mio - Damn it.

I'm all for changing the status quo (I'm tired of changes being made that then never get brought up again) but In the case of Diamond and Silver I'd prefer them to stay as they are. They're fun characters and they serve a useful role, narratively.

Well I just got done watching it. Not as good as TMPP, but still a decent episode. Did anyone tried to count just how many different Bon Bons were in the crowd? It's like their deliberately making clones of her now.

So is Babs an orange or a pumpkin?

Someone doesn't like Bronystate. Hacked the stream, by the looks of it.

What happened?

Anyway, another major thing was the reappearance of Rarity's father.

With a breakfast that Sweetie Belle made, apparently.

Emergency edible boots?

Maybe she uses it from when say says X or I'll eat my boots? That does raies the question of why she would even wear boots. Also, there was a human boot in the opening.

And dangit Scootaloo, stop writing speeches.

What are you, a thesaurus?!

What is she? A thesaurus?

Gosh darn ninajs!

First song to be so...artistic, the odd backgrounds, the..it just felt odd to watch, but fun to listen to

I thought the recurring background with peeling seeds was just strange

IMO that was the worst of series 3 so far. Not saying it was bad, just that the others were better.

Same here

Say, I had an interesting notion while I was out: What if the moral of the episode wasn't intended to be actually about talking to an adult about bullying or about bullies being afraid themselves, but rather a Revenge Never Works type plot? I mean, not exactly, but a way one could take the moral is that anyone can wind up being a bully, even someone who was bullied themselves, if they aren't careful about it.

Of course it's possible that was them oral everyone else got and I was just slow about it...

So only those born into the rich and high class are jerks?

Babs is highclass too most likely.

I think it really covers both. The episode obviously has a huge note of "if you're bullied, the worst thing to do is bully someone else". It wouldn't be the first time the show had an obvious secondary moral that doesn't get explicitly stated.

Have we seen Rarity's parents house or Sweetie Belle's room before?

Also the phrase "scoot your boot" was used. This amused me.

Also, can we finally put to rest the idea that Scoots isn't flight-capable?

Nonesense! It was just a random updraft! grin

Random point of continuity: The colt who snapped the picture of the CMC in the mud near the end of the episode is the same one who had been promoted to photographer of the Foal Free Press at the end of Ponyville Confidential.

Great catch! I was wondering why it was Featherweight

Yeah... to be honest for all the CMC say that they're looking for new recruits they... really don't. I mean, the photographer didn't have a CM. Gonna invite him into the gang, girls?

Maybe they already asked everypony in town?

Shout Out scene

I thought of the OOTS version when seeing the episode, but I've never seen the original.

Eh, Scoots didn't really fly, she hovered for a little bit. I doubt she could sustain it much longer than she did. After all, she managed to stay up for a little bit in Ponyville Confidential before dropping.

@Whatshisgame Well that doesn't count. So yeah, first time.
