I think it's just the fact that actively searching for cuite marks isn't something that most foals do. They come on their own, and most don't appear to put much thought towards it until after the fact. The CMC are already pretty late bloomers, and Babs seemingly even more so (note how much bigger she is than the CMC), so they're in a bit of a unique position regarding their marks.
but was "veggie salad" supposed to be a pun? I've been trying to parse that and not getting anything.
I didn't get it either.

I gotta admit, I was kinda expecting the timer to go off...and absolutely nothing happens.
I was actually expecting a lot more. Like Babs gets covered in the gold dust or something. Dunking her in a lake seems rather lame.

Nah, she a little bit more rounded in some areas.
At this rate Scootaloo's never gonna fly!

I'm surprised that the no-snitching attitude seems to be rather prevalent amongst the younger ponyfolk. Too much Boondocks, maybe?
I thought it was a bit weird too, and probably forced due to the plot/moral. But then again, young kids can be rather irrational.

Babs was a bit chunky, yeah. I thought it was kinda cute.
Here's a question: Who in their right mind lets a group of elementary school students construct and drive a float big enough to probably take out a house?
I'm just glad they added a railing and sidepath to the dead end cliff from MMDW
It's seems people just want their pound of flesh from Babs, so to speak.
I'm sure Applelight does.

I sure want a pound of flesh from her. I want to make some jerky!
No heroes, no villains, only people.
Also, I think the Babs Seed song is probably the most easy to get stuck in your head song from the entire show so far. Not the best song, but definitely one of the catchiest.
Really? I can barely remember it. I'd say the most earwormy are Witner Wrap Up, Art of the Dress, Smile Smile Smile, and This Day Aria.

you had to bring all those up at once, winter wrap up come on and smile and that's the art of the dress we got a bully on ore tails

So is Babs an orange or a pumpkin?
Yes
Suland if you are, please don't bring your revenge issues into the main thread constantly.

Missed the episode. Will watch it in a few minutes when my anime finishes. How was it?

Pretty good. Not the best, but still good.
Oh, the thread? Don't worry, it's just dead
.
One of my friends on Facebook: "I don't care what my Brony friends have to say, today's episode was WRONG. I didn't like it. I understand that bullying is a big thing now, but I felt like the CMC were fully justified in their actions. The only thing about the episode I liked at all was the song, but I thought the song was too long and used too many repeat frames. I was bullied all my childhood, but I never pulled shit like Babs did. I'm sorry, I don't like her, and I hope she NEVER appears on the show again.
"The episode for me was, in short, disappointing. To put it in brony-speak, Babs is worst pony."
Her husband: "Yeah, nothing excuses Babs' behavior. It was a terrible, TERRIBLE episode, and this season is really taking the show downhill. Time for the fad to die out, if this keeps up."

Am I something like the only person who's been bullied and doesn't see the episode as being reprehensible?
@Pannic: Nope. I thought it was very well handled, and I was bullied pretty thoroughly for two-thirds of my time in school.
I went down a similar route as Babs. Got sick being bullied in Compton and went to a different school. Was a complete jerkass at that point. However my future friends from their never lashed back. They showed me genuine friendship, and I still thank them for it.
So yeah. I like this episode's moral.
