I give the CMC the most awesome interpretation of their apparent talents that I can think of, Apple Bloom gets creativity all of it craft making songwriting inventing, comic books, face-off. Sweetie Belle gets music the entirety of music percussion woodwind brass jazz blues singing opera classical hip-hop. Scootaloo gets extreme sports and being a daredevil surfing skateboarding scooter skydiving dragracing.

Apple Bloom = Arts and crafts.

Sweetie Belle = Singing. Obviously.

Scootaloo = Scootering?

Kind of jarring how they went from enemies to BEST FRIENDS!

Pretty decent episode. I'm glad they didn't spend too long on the moral.

The CMC knew how much Babs wanted to ride a float from the scene before she joined up with Diamond and Silver.

They pulled off an especially mean-spirited Batman Gambit, is what they did.

@Blue: I got the idea that it was just because they knew Babs would be leaving soon and wanted to make up for lost time. That, and the CMC go overboard a lot.

Do we know how many episodes the CMC are going to get this time?

Here's a question: Who in their right mind lets a group of elementary school students construct and drive a float big enough to probably take out a house?

The way the moral and Babs were handled was... problematic. As a bully victim, the notion that being bullied causes you to be a bully is completely ridiculous to me. It is not an excuse, and is in my experience mostly made up to try and get in less trouble. Babs never got a full reproach for her actions, again stemming back to the idea that being bullied justified her behaviour. She knew exactly how she was making the CM Cs feel and just didn't give a shit. That was clear by her consistently horrible behaviour, in contrast to just when she is around DT and SS.

On the edible footwear thing, I posit it's for Rainbow Dash and (insert pony you ship with Rainbow Dash here). Based solely on the fact we know Rainbow Dash has sensitive hooves, so yeah.

It wasn't an excuse, and they never made it out to be. Her actions were never justified. If they were, then the CMC's plan to get her back would have been justified by the same excuse, which it clearly wasn't. You don't need karmic retribution for your actions if you've learned your lesson and made amends for what you have done, which she did. And the fact that Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were still bullies in the and goes to show that not every bully is the way they are because they were previously bullied. It really did cover all of its bases there, IMO.

It certainly can happen, though definitely not in all cases. I think the fact that she was pretty quick to drop the whole bullying thing and make speaks better of her then some give credit.

I think DT's talent is leadership or organisation. A crown kinda represents that.

As for Silver Spoon, maybe she's a really good public speaker?

I didn't like this episode, really. Of course, I don't like episodes on bullying on general because the subject is riddled with all kinds of triggers, but even apart from that, it just wasn't that great.

They did as well as they could, though. Some good body language on Babs, cute song, and I especially loved the gag with the mattress. Absolutely the perfect way to convey that everything was keikaku doori.

Apart from those highlights, average at best, and now I got a new least favourite episode.

The episode was good, but it could have used more Babs. Babs was awesome.

@Lurker: ...Which she didn't bother doing until the victims had done the same to her. The lesson Babs learned, by extension, is that she should plot revenge on her bullies in Manehatten, thwart it and apologise, just to get her bullies to regret their actions and then apologise. She never even thought for a second about what she was doing, that much was clear. If they had made her more sympathetic without an excuse about being bullied, I would have bought it. Her insecurity was there, sure, but again it's not enough. From experience, if people are bullies to hide their insecurities around others it is only when they are part of the hive mind that they act like bullies. Her standing up to the brats at the end was good, but to be honest I was so annoyed by that point that I couldn't wait for the episode to be over.
