I like TMPP because it seems specifically designed to counter the "Pinkie is a flat gag machine" ideology that tends to crop up when she doesn't get a character focus episode for a while. It decides to show you what it would be like if she really was that shallow, and then multiply it by 20 for maximum effectiveness.
And it still managed to give us even more great Pinkie gags than usual.
