At least in cafe's they do. Don't know about home life, but in coffee shops and such I've found that in most of Europe people smoke like chimneys. Greece was the same way. Then again, I was only in Turkey for about two weeks, so I don't know if I got a good sample of how things are over there.

And yes there would be high potential for hilarity, I mean we know what happens when Poison Joke goes on your skin, but the effects for when it enters the lungs and bloodstream could be totally different....

I dunno. I am not sexually attracted to guys in the least, but I can certainly tell if a guy meets or does not meet some aesthetic criteria — after all, I am not sexually attracted to chairs either, but that does not mean that I cannot tell whether a chair was or was not done in a certain style

I may not be the first one to develop this analysis but FIM reminds me of the Smurfs. And by the intelligence and spirit put into it, I mean the Smurfs COMICS.

Twilight = Brainy Smurf (all tosser towards Papa Smurf) Pinkie = Jokey Smurf Rarity = Vanity Smurf AJ = Farmer Smurf Dash = Hefty Smurf Fluttershy = ... ...ok, maybe Scaredy Smurf though he was lately created.

Note the possible direct Shout-Out when Pinkie is hypnotized by Discord and repeats "I hate... !" just like Grumpy Smurf.

Both cartoon's characters are defined by very few traits so they are easily recognized by children, live in a fairy tale Sugar Bowl and tend to learn an Aesop.

That wouldn't be so uncommon, but as I said, very few of these works destined to children could be as creative as were Lauren Faust or Peyo and Yvan Delporte.

@Carc: I can generally tell whether a guy would generally be considered attractive or not based on how people generally tend to react, but personally my take on how attractive guys are tends to consist of sorting them into "ugly" and "not-ugly". Also, I think the sense of "attractive" is applied differently to inanimate objects and people. There's a general idea of "aesthetically pleasing", but if you're incorporating sexuality into it it's entirely different. Like I can tell that one man is more aesthetically pleasing to look at than another, but I still wouldn't be sexually attracted to either of them.
