I would personally love it if there was a version of MLP where all the main characters had different British Isles accents, especially if Twilight DIDN'T speak RP (the upperclass London accent) so that they could avert the stupid Smart People Speak The Queens English trope. That and I'd like to see something where they give a brainy character an accent that's associated with being stupid to further mess with accent stereotypes. And of course Rarity would fake an RP accent but her real accent would be something else (either Cockney or some other regional dialect) that her parents and Sweetie Belle speak.

And then Luna's usage of thee and thou would make sense if she spoke with an old-fashioned Yorkshire dialect. In fact, I'd like to simply set Canterlot Oop North so that Twilight can have one of the accents from that area too.
