@enlong: I can't imagine many of the trees were transplants, unless the train always went to Appleossa since it's founding.
I dunno lol. I imagine it must have been a lot of work to figure out that animation, since Terran ponies don't know how to do that. Also it's evidence for Granular Jamming gripping in their hooves.
Yeah, that's kind of odd how they're able to do that. I suppose that for ponies it's like hopping on one leg for humans.

Plus the buffalo could have just run through the orchard. There was more than enough space in between those trees to let a buffalo go through.

I don't see what's so strange about it. Humans can walk on one leg if we want to. Unfortunately, it makes us look very silly.
