It's been 44 pages since the new episode(s) started airing. Not bad at all. Just like old times.
For a while, we were averaging that even on non episode days.

What's with the weird new avatars. Anyway, I ran the stats. The peak posting rate today was 130 posts / 15 minutes, which is better than every episode except for the season 2 finale. However, the posting was much less sustained, and dropped to low rates soon after the episode. Overall, our posting rate is more like early second season before the thread really took off. Kind of funny to think that the vast majority of posts in this thread took place over a time period of only half a year.

well it's also out first episode without having to defuse Ginger rage of any kind. that HAD to have ate into the post rate.

My random thoughts
Honestly, it's probably due to the fact that Ginger isn't around. He posted a lot and his...strong opinions generated a lot of arguments that no longer happen because he isn't constantly bringing them up. We are posting a bit slowly than we used to, but I don't think we've lost much content.
Yeah not only did he make up 1 in 9 posts just by himself as well as provoke a lot of aguments, but there's also a vicious circle aspect. I don't post anywhere near as much as I used to because there's not as much to talk about and less activity to respond to. Which only makes the problem worse.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that his post count was as high as the next three top posters combined. Heck, he probably still has more posts in this thread than anyone else.
