Anyway, my only real comment is that I loved the ponies' harmonizing at the end of the show. They really need to sing together more often.

I find it a bit odd that we have the Lotus-Eater Machine trope, but we don't seem to have a trope specifically for a mental trap which shows you your worst nightmares, rather than your wildest dreams.

Actually, those three images are labeled for S3E13; the one labeled for S3E12 is the Crystal Empire with a big new stadium.

Just watched the show. It was...nice.

I think a lot of the impact was lost because I went to a brony meet-up to watch it. Because of the set-up I wasn't able to really appreciate the animation upgrade and I missed some of the lines because of noise, but the story had some issues too.

On another note, I don't think I'll be doing the meet-up thing again any time soon. It's not my thing and I would have had more fun posting my reactions here anyway.

And creepers. And smelly people.

I liked it. Sombra was a bit too much of an entity than an actual character, but I think he'll be elaborated upon later, so that's not a problem.

I fully expected Twilight would have to go deep into the snow of the north to find the Heart. The idea of it being in Sombra's throne room didn't occur to me at first.
