Well, this is what I get for having my hopes up in terms of villains.
I don't konw what to think, anymore.
To be honest, I don't really care about Sombra at all. This episode was solidly Twilight's show :)
Spooky.
Sombra is just a shadow of his former self.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
Twi is gonna level up!
Yeah, that's going to be interesting. What is it going to be? The obvious guess would be Twalicorn, but I doubt that that's going to be the case...
But they seem to
know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.
Sombra certainly didn't have much personality, but he made up for it with some pretty awesome traps and planning. Not to mention that his powers were really awesome. The real meat of the episode was in the character development, anyway. Season-spanning arc, ho!

No heroes, no villains, only people.
For some reason I'd kinda like to see Somber get built up as the bad guy only for it to turn out that he's actually trying to be a good guy.
Well you got it half right.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
It's nice to see they enjoyed the Crystal Buff.
Yeah, I feel like he was quite the intimidating villain before he was turned into a blob.
I have a message from another time...
I wonder if this series will have any real villain that lasts more than two episodes.
Nah.
No heroes, no villains, only people.
Still, that leaves a lot of room for fanfiction writers. How many
Start of Darkness stories about Sombra are going to appear now?

I didn't think you'd have the stones.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
Rarity liked it the most. Yeah, I think the point is to get Twi to a different place. It wasn't necessarily about beating a villain.
