Merch Update: Singapore

Ed, Pan, anyone else at the small-but-significant island in Southeast Asia, Pony DVD collections are available !

There's a DVD store in Funan (ground floor) which has the imported Shout! Factory Royal Wedding and Friendship Express discs (region 1, retail S$22.90), and the Populars have started carrying localized DVD sets! 3 volumes with 3/4 episodes each (retail S$14.90).

Volume 1 - Contains S1 Premiere, Griffon the Brush-off, Swarm of the Century

Volume 2 - Contains Stare Master, Owl's Well That Ends Well, Best Night Ever, and Cutie Mark Chronicles

Volume 3 (I bought the last one in stock at White Sands!) - Contains Dragonshy, Suited For Success, and The Show Stoppers

They even had Dragonshy running on the small demo TV and a bunch of little girls were watching. My excuse for getting the disc? "I'm buying Christmas Presents early this year."

@Seraphem Good call. I put myself through the entire fic, and the ending, while it tones down the grimdark, compensates by cranking up the "THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING" factor. Plus, it feels like a waste of time.

I reckon if we make it profitable enough for InnoForm they might release a complete season box set.

I will admit, terribly unhelpful as it would be to actually gettng there, I'n mot liable to buy any DVD's unless they come out with season/box sets. And maybe like a year or so after they do so the price goes down to something mangable.

Good series. Not 70-120 dollars good series.

I figure I might as well give Hasbro and their licensees some money even though I already have 720p redundant backups of all 52 episodes of the first two seasons. Throw money at screen = more pony because Hasbro decides it's profitable to make more content.

All the info for the dvd gift packs I have already posted at the pagetopper. Support innoform, so hopefully they might release the complete box set eventually.

@Yeller: Shout Factory in Australia is working on one, but right now it's still in the preorder phase and will only start shipping starting December. Right now the market is still full of several-episode gift pack discs.

Also I have Ticket Master and Lesson Zero from the mini-dvds bundled with some of the brushables.
