Youtube gives me more than my fair share of unquenchable flamewars.

But I expect there'll be some good ones here a few episodes in. Maybe a new base breaking character? Or maybe we'll be having some nasty debates on who'd really have won the magic duel.

I figure he means Association football, no-one outside the states plays American Football (they play Rugby instead :V)

Pegasi are more into racing and air-jousting.

Unicorns would be banned from both. The risk of puncturing the ball/somepony would be a bit too high.

I can imagine pegasi playing something similar to Quidditch.

Unicorns would have to wear padded helmets to avoid accidentally hurting themselves or somepony.

I would actually prefer the show invent it's own vague sport rather than try to ape aother one into pony form. different bodies, different skills and all that. For my own part, I actually developed a fairly simple sport called cloudball. Kind of like a cross between Rugby(You can only pass backward or liearly, never forwards), Quidditch(Three goals) and basketball(no traveling while holding the ball, except for the hilariously named 'goer').

I think at least. Some of those things may have reworked themselves in my head.

As for the 'arguments', while I don't mind some healthy discussion, I'm.. honestly sort of glad Ginger himself isn't here. I keep in contact with the dude, and I like him plenty, but he's really only gotten worse...

Go nuts! I'd sort of planned for it to be 'the' pegasi sport, so seeing it catch on would be pretty cool. One of these days I should hack up an actual ruleset for it...
