Anyway, I also hate tumblr's layout.

Best pony is Twilight, followed by Fluttershy, followed by Photo Finish, followed by Lyra, followed by Golden "Carrot Top" Harvest, followed by Princess Luna. Anyone who disagrees has terrible taste.

Blueblood was a jerk but I'll agree that he is more reviled than he deserves to be.

As for Trixie being a jerk, that's part of what I like about her! It makes her entertaining! Would I find her annoying in pony? Yes! But on screen she's entertaining!

Top three episodes are A Canterlot Wedding, Hurricane Fluttershy and Lesson Zero in that order.

Best episode of season one is Suited for Success followed closely by Green isn't Your Colour.

Worst episode of the entire series is Over a Barrel and I still enjoy even that one. If you want my opinion on that episode, copy-paste JT's review.

Best pony is Rarity.

Oh, and best episode is Sisterhooves Social. Sweetie's drawing - manly tears, man.

Applejack is best pony, but Rarity gets the best episodes.

Rarity's good and all, but she doesn't compare. Still, as I've said before, I may have preffered Rarity with the episodes in a different order so I saw how awesome she is earlier.

Anyone else experience something similar?

Sisterhooves Social is too triggery for me to enjoy propperly. It ends up reminding me of my own family's problems. Still, I manage to sort of enjoy it when I work up the courage to watch it again.

EDIT:Rarity does tend to get the best episodes on average, but Season 2 has given some more awesome episodes to other characters now.

@tielwyth A Cruel And Unusual Punishment that she didn't deserve. Seriously, there was no reason to doing that to her: the only good way was to try to speak with her again but with more subtlelty (and on a better moment, as I said before), plus she wasn't going anywhere (or better she wasn't until they screw it up!) so they had all the time thay want to try that. and they don't have the excuse of AJ's stubbornes, because they know that if there's something she value even more thant trust is her family, so they just needed to make her remember that. So yeah, all the shenanigans of the episode were really for nothing and just contributed to show the mane six being awfull (usually I tries to find some justifications when it happens, but this time I really can't find any, and I tried hard).

As for OOC, Pinkie and Dash weren't (I's say that the problem is they were too much on character), but Twilight gosh darn yes! I any other she would've immediately jossed Pinkie and Dash's plan, but for some reason she decided here to step aside for no reason at all (and no, the failure of before isn't a justification, because it could've work when done in a better moment). I would'nt have a problem for that if it wasn't for the fact that she let Dash and Pinkie taking the leading role, two ponies I would never let lead this kind of situation (Dash because she do things too rushingly and Pinkie because she talks almost nothing seriously, as long as it's funny for her).

As of Dragon Quest, the reason behind Spike journey was because he thought that he was going to be more accepted in a group of dragons like him than with ponies, but at the end he learned that they still loves him no matter whet. He also learned that no matter from what species you're friends are, they're still your family.

I think what's special about Rarity's is that they somewhat feel more mature than the others. After all they usually deal with more adult subjects like the world of stars and high class ponies, it also helps that it does it in a way that respect the viewer intelligence (kid or not).

@Sereg: I guess the annoyance is more with Trixie's fans then anything else. They're always harping on and on about how 'Trixie deserves redemption' and how 'She'd totally befriend Twilight', which really starts to rag on after awhile.

And seriously, befriend Twilight? They barely exchanged more then a few words in the episode.

Yeah, not counting that her, Discord and Chrysalis deserves redemption, but Blueblood, Tiara and Gilda don't. Oh, the logic of Draco in Leather Pants .

It'd be fun to see what Trixie gets up to this coming season though. Maybe she gets more opportunities to square off against Twi.

My personal fanon holds that Trixie knows some light combat and performance magic, but Twi's spell-list is larger and more holistic, with buffs, heals, effect spells, the works.

Well, season 3 does have an episode called 'Magic Duel'... It's possible that it's this one that Trixie will appear in.

Of course, I still hold that Twi is more generalized than any specialist spellcaster. There'll be specialist spells she can't pick up easily, but she can dabble in basic spells from every school of magic.
