Edit: My first header, I believe. And it seems really random.

Double Edit: That Shrimp Pony would be better on a demolition crew. Blast the rocks away to make room for coral.

Only other creature what can have subtypes like Ponies are so far only Dragons. Because their subtypes show up in show. We saw Winged Dragon, Wingless Dragons, Sea Dragon (Serpent) , only missing dragon version of unicorn.

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

Spike is the Dragon Equivalent of a Unicorn

Most dragons have only one spell. Spike's is using his fire to transport items.

Man, we haven't seen sea ponies at all in the show. There's no evidence for anything in regards to them, so we can just muck around, have fun making stuff up.

Oh wow, and honest to god troll post. I've never seen one up close before.

Spike is windgless dragon dragon version of eath pony.

Only this kind of dragon have any close relations with other creatures because this is natural for them.

Yeah, we just got one of those over in the Negima thread. He must be attacking all the lengthy threads or something.

Anyway, I like the characterization ideas that Red Savant brought up. It even fits in with the backstory; Luna wanted to get to know her subjects better but couldn't because they were always asleep, and eventually she got bitter about it.

I think the Princess and the Sea Pony nation would have agreements, to help coordinate all that sort of stuff.

Sea Ponies make sure there is enough water for the Earth Ponies. They keep the water consistent by managing the precipitation from Cloudsdale. I don't think there is a Water Factory, like Cloudsdale has for rainbows, however.

The water tides are affected by the moon, right? Maybe Luna is needed to keep the Sea Ponies in line and make sure that they always have enough water to survive.

Sea Ponies fought for Nightmare Moon 1000 years ago and that's why we don't see them. They live in self given exile from shame of what their ancestors did.

I just had the imagine of a Sea Pony with a Crook herding a big shoal of fish and using a dolphin to assistance them. They speak 'dolphin', and have to work hard to keep it from eating the fish.

Plus, there's always that one fish who faces the wrong way!
