It started with a number of jokey Twitter post that quickly balloned into a sort of online persona. None of it is actual trolling (I think she even refers to it by a different name) but the fans love it apparently.

@Mio: She calls it "Twolling" if I remember right. Basically, she posted this

on her twitter and ever since then she's been posting all sorts of hilarious stuff on there interacting with the fanbase

. It basically identified her as One of Us, which is why she's the unofficial "queen" of the bronies.
