The butthurt is strong with this one. Also, a lot of comments on Derpi said that the reason that our comic is outselling theirs is because their comics suck. I've never read One More Day, but I can tell that I don't want to.

@butthurt: Well, it would help if Marvel ditched Quesada and his ridiculous One More Day storyline that spits on everything that stands for Spidey.

@Yeller: There are strictly speaking 2 primary kinds of AMF: Energy denial (Absorption and Suppression) and Disruption (Interference and Countermagic/Permission). Personally I tend towards Interference AMF because it's funny to see people unable to set their spells up because of the "noise" preventing them from shaping the magic.

It is an interesting comment on the comic book industry when a My Little Pony comic from a second or third-tier publisher (does IDW count as indie?) outsells X-Men, Spider-man, and the Goddamnned Batman.

Honestly? There isn't all that much butthurt. And what butthurt there is, is more over the fact that this proves marvel/DC suck now than anything else.

@Story: Comic doesn't come out until November. That's all preorders. Between this and the season 1 box set, I think the fanbase has made it's point that it's more than willing to shell out if Hasbro gives us cool stuff.

IDW also does Mega Man and Transformers comics in addition to ponies.

Yeah, Archie does Megan Man and Sonic. There's even a crossover!

IDW currently does Godzilla, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghost Busters, and is Hasbro's go-to for their comic tie-ins such as Transformers and GI Joe (which is why they also got My Little Pony). They do a lot of licensed stuff.
