No, I think he'd be a better fit for Brian Cox.
Also, better-quality clip got put on the Hub's Facebook page. Rainbow Dash said "Empire" not "Emperor", unfortunately, and King Somber seems to be some kind of Eldritch Abomination considering what happened when that crystal pony in the beginning tried to remember something about his reign.
