The crystal ponies are all down as part of the spell that banished them, and that will do so again. It's their lack of giving a fuck that will do it, Cadance is using her love magic to try and keep them all at least somewhat attached and connected, but doing so to so many ponies at once is draiing and barely works, the Mane 6 are getting the fair going to try and get the crystal ponies to throw off the malasie and break the spell.
