...Did you forget where she lives and what she spends most of her time doing?
That was Twilight as a grown adult (or young adult, whatever). We know little of her childhood besides playing with Cadence and/or her big brother.

I wonder what they were doing during that changeling attack.
Ack! Bad mental image! Shoo!

To keep the Touhou theme we'd have to tap into astrophysics and obscure classical legends too though. And America and Europe have plenty of those!

Seeing as the changeling attack started midway through their son's wedding, I doubt they were off doing whatever you're thinking of.

And they do have a lot of books at home. Remember in Cutie Mark Chronicles where it shows Twilight in their house reading all of those books?

I wonder if her parents were taken prisoner or managed to get into hiding.

One of the wild mass guess floating around is that a number of the Canterlot Ponies really are too soft to survive the wilds in any capacity, unlike the residents of say, Ponyville (Everfree outpost town) or Appleloosa (Frontier town).

Up til now, IIRC all the rooms Twi has ever used for her bedrooms are always full of books.

The CMC flashback could have been at a library.

It couldn't have been, because her parents came to present her with the acceptance letter in the same room. It looked more like a residence anyway.

I don't know anything about obscure legends, I'm afraid.

Astrophysics, on the other hand... Kepler's laws come to mind.

Remember in Cutie Mark Chronicles where it shows Twilight in their house reading all of those books?
I believe I must now concede the point.

Well they probably knew she was in the library.

...What

Lemons are too mundane for Discord

Poor Gamer Luna. The truth: Sony scalps gamers on the Vita's Class 6-equivalent memory cards being sold at Class 10 prices.

@Ace: I have no idea what that means.
Ace Of Scarabs avatar

@Crow: It means that Sony is overpricing their memory cards and making sure people are forced to buy them (No internal storage, no support for conventional SD cards, no included cards with a new Vita).

The Vita notoriously overcharges for out-of-date memory cards. Which is hilarious, because you can get 4+ GB USB thumbdrives that are literally the size of your thumbnail for a few bucks.

Also bees notoriously get ninjad by shiny Fabergé eggs or whatever the hell that picture is.

@Pykrete: That's me. Also those cheapo flash drives are using slow flash memory. The reason why high-grade drives cost so much is 'cause their flash memory is easily up to 5 or 10 times faster (compare the read times between the expensive USB 3 drives like say Sandisk's Extreme and their cheapo Cruzers. I did a compare test between a Microvault Mach and the super-cheap Cruzer Edge and the the Mach is easily as much as 5-20 times faster).

Onto The Last Roundup.

I have a feeling this is going to be depressing.

Yeah, the only sad part about it was the epic shitstorm it stirred up.
