When Celestia wants overkill, she gets overkill!

I'm noticing ponyfic seems to use the phrase "there was nothing for it" rather often. It doesn't seem to matter who the author is. I've seen that phrase come up maybe three times in my life before I ended up in this fandom, and suddenly I see it like every sixth story or so.
Just be glad Syndrome didn't show up to take care of Pumpkin.
Yeah, for
Syndrome's sake.
Granted, Pumpkin's no Jack-Jack, but still.

Burning people! He says what we're all thinking!
Yeah, Pumpkin alone would be pretty well into "F this noise" territory for Syndrome.
@Ace: And then it turns out that the sun is pretty comfortably warm.
Pound Cake was able to fly, because all baby ponies (particularly pegasi and unicorns) experience a temporary surge in their powers and abilities. Of course, being temporary, it wears off, meaning that they have to relearn it when they get older.
That makes me feel sad for Scootaloo, because she has crippled/disabled wings. I bet her parents were greatly concerned when she displayed no flying ability as a baby. That's what I think happened, unless Hasbro says different - which they haven't!
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!
I refuse to count Scoot as handicapped until I see it in show, or at least official material or Word Of God.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

Do you have that quote?
All I read about that was unused episode idea , and she didn't even comended on those ideas.

x 3
I don't know, this show is good about continuity and she already conquered her fear of Dragons...
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
Wouldn't it be fun if Scootaloo does learn how to fly, but goes all "Screw flying, scooter FTW!"
Also, Scootaleparkour.
