I can do quarter-circle just fine. I can probably pull off half-circle. But I cannot reliably do a shoryuken to save my life.

Well yeah, she doesn't have half her animation frames and still glisses around like she's on a moving sidewalk, but the stance looks right. Really aggressive and predatory — fits her well.

Well Rainbow Dash looks really disappointing in the Fighting is Magic game, from what I've seen so far. She doesn't fly, she's not particularly fast, and she just uses generic kicks and punches...

The lighting attack is cool at least.

Rainbow is far from being done. She only has two of her commands and none of her supers. And she's the fastest at moving around the stage out of the five so far. The lack of flying is mitigated by her really high jump. It lets her get away from the enemy quickly. I'm curious how you were expecting her to play, though. Quick punches/kicks that allow her to combo often was about what I thought she would have.
