I want to have the experience just to know what it's like.

It's also been a long time since I got one from getting hurt instead of just dry skin, but my lips bleed in winter sometimes.

I don't think I've ever had a nosebleed before. My sister has, but I don't recall ever having one.

I have had some epic freeflow nosebleeds once or twice. And if you count my recent jaw surgery I had a nasty nosebleed from that, took days to get all the blood out.

That's weird, cause I did too.

It sounds like a bigger deal than it is, though. They didn't even have to knock me out and they only cut me open a little inside my mouth.

@Ed: Bah, I have four taken out once. All at one time, without getting put under. That was a weird experience.

I couldn't be a doctor like that; not because of the whole "sight of blood" thing but because 1. I'm too lazy to go through med school, 2. I don't think I could handle the stress that comes with that much responsibility. If I ever tried to perform a surgery I get the feeling that I'd chicken out because holy crap this guy will die if I screw up.

Blood doesn't scare me. Just surgery. I don't like the idea of someone toying around inside me.

I remember when I had surgery once (it was to check and see if I have Brugada Syndrome (I do, but it's benign, apparently)) my parents waited until I was on anesthesia and then told me I was a cat.

I'm told I meowed all the way into the operating room. XD

I had surgery a few years ago to get a hernia repaired. It honestly wasn't that bad (I'd rather do that again than have to get my wisdom teeth pulled again) outside of the fact that for a few days I couldn't get out of my chair on my own.

Yeah, I was totally high on that stuff the whole time. Hearing them poking around in there and breaking the teeth to pull them out was incredibly surreal.

I've never been in the kind of fight that's ended with someone beating beaten into submission, but I have been in scraps that involved trading more than a couple blows. It's really not as adventure-y as it sounds (and especially not like anything in media).

Ace: I'd be a little worried about hurting an MLP of that size (since I'd want to hug her/him repeatedly and hugging something that small is awkward at best). I'd be totally fine with house cat size or bigger, though.
