That was what I got out of it. They're good at shooting one crack in the world with friendship, but when the whole thing goes to shit around them they're as clueless as anyone else. People overwhelmed by continuous pressure can and do do some shady stuff they wouldn't do otherwise.

Why are there so many different way to fly!?
That reminds me of an article I saw posted in World Building about all the different wing types and how each type of bird has wings adapated to different flying styles (and why Eragon is stupid in even more ways than you thought). I could try to find it again fi you want.

Same here. I've never had a reason to watch the cheesy old batman movies.
Much as I love the Nolan films, I also love
Batman: The Movie (based on the cheesy TV series) just as much, because it's so darn funny. And it wasn't cheesy by accident, either. The showrunners were aiming for
Multiple Demographic Appeal, so they wrote everything so that little kids would think it was cool, and so anyone old enough to understand irony would think it's hilarious.
There's a point early in the film where Batman deduces that he was attacked at sea, which sounds like "C", which stands for "cat"... therefore Catwoman was behind the attack!
And he's absolutely right. That, even more so than the shark-repellent bat-spray, convinced me that this was some bizarro universe where normal logic did not apply.
The portable Venus of occupied space. Grace is a maze of amazing taste.
...Discord?
As I find so much pleasure in that melts like my breath, I am always full of regret.
Wrong thread?

I am pretty sure I am not the first one to say this, but I think either Pinkie or Discord would make a good Joker. Heath Ledger one, I mean.

Would Pinkie just want the world to burn?
No, she'd want to watch the world dance.
Good point.
She would love to put smiles on people's faces, though.

That...was painful.

I see Pinkie as more of the Romero Joker (granted, I've only seen clips of that, but he was having so much fun throwing fish dammit) and Discord as the BTAS Joker.
Mmmpphh MMMMMPPHH!
Slightly relevant:

Well, that won't end tragically.
At least she doesn't have to worry about the moon killing her.
