SOME seemed to cement Rarity appreciating Spike a lot more, but entirely in a "oh, isn't he just adorable", childish way, if their interactions in Dragon Quest are any indication.
My headcanon is that the offspring of a pony and a dragon is a draconequus, so I don't know how I feel about Spike/Rarity.
