I don't see those as particularly nasty comments. Most of them are commenting on things they don't like about the art style, and aside from a few "this is ugly/I don't like it" comments, most of them are at least constructive enough to point out areas that need improvement (masculine faces, odd posture, etc).

Yeah the comments don't look too bad to me. Maybe it's just the -24 scope that is so depressing. At least there are suggestions for improvement.

@Perpetual: Yeah, now that I looked through them more closely there are only like 3 or so that are actually mean-spirited; the rest aren't necessarily positive but they seem to tend more towards "This isn't my style", which is unfortunate, but also a perfectly valid reaction.

That would just be weird.
