@Mousa: Life's been good. the scanner hunt... less so. But I managed to pick up soem overtime at work. Depending on how much my student loans turn out to be(I'm applying for aid from the governement) I might be able to put some overtime pay into it. Turn out a decent scanner/printer combo is only around a hundred dollars, so I could actually afford it inside a couple weeks if all goes well. I AM kinda missing it... especially after finishing reading that Ask Velvet arc.

Sorry to hear about your reception on derpibooru, by the by. I mean I haven't read the comments, but if they're anything like the type I normally see on your stuff... well, yeah.

A thought I just had that makes the logic of Luna Eclipsed work much better is Luna's drastic change in appearance. The last time anyone in Ponyville saw Luna, she was this meek, (relatively) normal looking pony. When she shows up in Luna Eclipsed, she's larger, has the flowing, ethereal mane, and is shouting and calling up impressive thunderstorms, all of which were hallmarks of Nightmare Moon's brief appearance in Ponyville. Even if they knew Luna had been turned good, it certainly didn't look like the same Luna whose return they had celebrated the year before.

Want me to look it up?

very true, all they know is some big, dark, powerful alicorn drops into the middle of town in a thunderstorm and starts yelling loud enough to send out shockwaves. i'd be a bit scared too.

ummmm, this IS slow for us, just wait till season 3 starts and we get back to a normal posting speed

@Gex: I think you're overstating it a bit; out of all the images on derpibooru, like 90% of them are ranked safe. Just because there are some idiots who post a lot doesn't really reflect much on the rest who use the site.

As far as Luna Eclipsed goes, I thought it was overall a good episode. I love the way Luna's character was handled, but I still don't really get how the resolution worked. Her whole problem was that she was unintentionally terrifying the ponies, so the solution is...intentionally act scary, and then they won't be scared anymore? I'm still not seeing the logic there.

It's just the dregs from Ponibooru, mayitrestinpeace.

@Steve: I'd go around looking for punks so I could inquire as to whether or not they were feeling particularly auspicious.

Yes, I remember Cysma very well. I was the one keeping track of his progress and pointing out how futile it was after all.

The irony is that if he stuck around, he'd actually be making progress now, since we've dropped so far in posting rate.
