I'd recommend it. It's very funny.
My favourite comedy fanfic though is still The Worst Bakers in Equestria. That's the only thing that I've ever read where the instant I finished, I immediately went back to the beginning and read the whole thing over again.

The only fanfic I actually finished so far is The Best Night Ever.
I am about half way through Anthropology. Despite the controversial plot twist and what comes after, I find myself enjoying it. So far.

I loved Wild Sweet and Cool, was an amazing Twi/RD fic that never even came close to being a ship fic, well other then the one chapter where the rest of the mane six had a comedic misunderstanding and though the CMC saw Twi and Dash getting it on in a field.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.

I think the most amazing thing about that is that the author has three stories, one of them is a grimdark DBZ-esque throwdown, and the other two are the most amazingly lightheartedly absurd things ever. He's really flexible, even if it does inevitably devolve into a crazy Michael Bay blockbuster in one way or another.

My Little Alicorn is probably my favourite serious ponyfic. And while it's sequel isn't quite at that level, it's still really good and actually adresses the biggest problem with the original.
