I'd honestly laugh my head off. What I'd really like to see is a thing where the writers just go for broke with mocking the public perception of the earlier generations. Like somepony reads a book to the CMC that ends up embodying the worst aspects of the previous generations and they end up thinking it's stupid.

And I've finished Act 1 of Welcome to Ponyville. It's fairly good but it seems too linear right now, maybe that'll be less so in the later Acts. Some of the voice acting was pretty bad like Scootaloo's.

Bonus points if the story in question is a plot taken directly from an earlier generation. Like Rainbow Dash starts reading a story that actually happened in like gen 3 or something, decides that it's boring, and starts adding stuff to it.
