Meh, I'm currently stuck in your primitive time period thanks to an odd incident with an alarm clock and a quantum spatula, so let me tell you: season 87 is going to knock your socks off.

Pagetopper!

Humans can be more malignant than Hell at its worst, yet could also occasionally show more grace than Heaven at its best.

[up][up]Is that the season where we find out which one of the villains is actually Twilight Sparkle's great-grandson from across time?

Oh. I saw it mentioned on Tumblr awhile back that the new season would start on the 22nd of this month. Must have been a rumor then.

[up][up][up] Close.

It's the one where we find out all of the villains are Twilight's great-grandsons from across time, except for one, who is an evil parallel universe Spike.

They really kept overdoing that plot point.

But hey, Fluttershy turning out to have imbued her soul into the butterflies of the world after her disintegration was an awesome climax. I laughed so hard when Baron von Badspike was chased off by them.

Also, Trixie's flying space tank. Never gets old.

Look at Cuddly-Wuddly Syndrome in Dwarf Fortress. No-one actually thinks it's a disease. It's just a fun shorthand for a thing cats do to dwarves.

That reminds me. I need to read Boatmurdered some time. Except that Homestuck is going to take long enough by itself.

And when do we find out just what happened to Applejack? She's been missing for, like, 20 seasons now or something.

My personal theory is that she's been right there all along! She's just disguised.

Best moment was when Twilight crashed airship full of megaspells into Cristal Empire capital, it beginning of end for Empire. Or when good Changeling joined cast

I was playing Indiana Jones soundtrack in my head.

The actual music for that scene was much better.

I've already seen the final season.

How about that arc where with villain what had ability to stwitch universes and after learning that all of them have ponies (what he hates) he decided to destroy them all starting from universe of first cartoon, but since MLP source was in toyline he only destroyed Dream Valley and nothing more

@Irish: Haven't you seen the season finale yet?

AJ turned out to have been forcibly fused with a windigo. During the climactic battle, Cyber-Dash was able to snap her out of it with a well-placed tackle.

Not sure why it took them so long, though. When they made the big reveal half the audience were like "Applewho?"

87th season spoilers.

Owloysius is actually an alien.

Season finale villain was defeated when an infinite number of parallel universe Elements of Harmony were turned on her - including one where Derpy was the Element of Laughter.

Yeah, but it wasn't very good.

The special effects of her chainsaw duel with Nega-Dash were pretty good, but half the script was written on autopilot and it shows.

Boatmurdered is awesome. Especially the ending.

@nth season spoilers: I'd watch that!

I still think that season 52 was underrated. Just because Celestia turned out to be a robot doesn't cheapen her death that much.

This series lost me at season 22. I can't believe all of you could stand the tripe that came after.

I lost intreast at season 12, when the charectors became more unlikeable, Pinkie went from being a loveable goofball to a idotic jerk, and a rape scene played for laughs occured. Though the show was allready going downhill beforehand. Everyone allways tells me that it get's better at season 23, but I have yet to see any proof. Though we did get a decent movie and a neat but hard video game inbetween seasons 12 and 23.
